Paris Baguette in Manhattan, New york. cafe for reading & studying & chilling 맨하탄 뉴욕에서 책읽기 공부하기 좋은 카페
now. It's been almost 3months of living in the US. the one thing I dislike about the US, I couldn't find any proper places to read or study or just chill. I am from Korea. and I am very used to reading at a cafe because most Korean people are eager to learn and we love to find good cafes to read and chill. but after I got here. I couldn't find any good places to read. and most libraries are closed on Sunday, which day I am free from work.
I don't remember when, but I was just walking around 40th to 50st and I found this Cafe, called Paris Baguette. I knew this cafe existed because this one is from Korea, It is made by Korean people. even though it's called Paris Baguette for Marketing reasons, all the bread and beverages they are selling, are very similar to the ones they are selling in Korea. I can also find red bean paste bread here, which is what Korean people like to have,
Manhattan is very expensive, I tried other cafes, but I couldn't stay for more than one hour because the tables and chairs were really uncomfortable, and even some cafes didn't even have bathrooms. so I felt like those were telling me to leave ASAP. but this cafe on the other hand offers you quite a good environment to read, and they are open from 6 am to 11 pm(it might be changeable), just like Korean cafes, beverages are pretty affordable. you can start your drink from around $2.5. and they manage the place pretty cleanly, even Starbucks can't manage right this.
this one is in 7avenue and between 40 and 41st st, there is another Paris Baguette around and a block away. so Hopefully you don't get confused. and this one can't find on Google Maps unless you put the exact address. so I am gonna put the link down here.
